I was bullied unmercifully as a child in school–I was poor, fat, and well with the last name of Baggott, didn’t stand much chance. Even though I have 2 college degrees, and am a successful Emergency Department nurse, I still feel that little girl inside me who just wants to hide and blend in, not call attention to herself. I went to my 25 year high school reunion and realized that those people who bullied me haven’t changed, but I sure have. I also realized that I didn’t need those people in my life then or now. Good Riddance!
